Free Comchek Cards
FreightCheck clients get FREE Comchek cards. Once you become a factoring client, your Comchek card will arrive in 3 to 5 business days. Additional cards are available to upon request.
Comchek cards are available only to FreightCheck clients and are used to provide money for the freight bills we purchase.*
The Comchek® card is honored at more than 10,000 truck stops and service centers in North America. It's the one card to use for fuel, payment, money access and long distance calling card capabilities. Card holders also receive fuel discounts at the pump.
Use your Comchek debit card to access funds from more than 600,000 ATM locations worldwide, as well as any location that accepts Maestro.
Now Offering Direct Deposit: You can now easily transfer money from your Comchek card directly to your personal or business checking account at the push of a button. Transfer only the funds you need any time, day or night.
Added Bonus: Issue Comcheks by yourself 24 hours a day from the funds available on your Comchek card. There are no setup fees or monthly fees.
The following transaction fees are incurred when using your Comchek card:
Automated Voice Response Unit (24 Hours) - There is no charge to call (800) 741-6060 and check your card balance. There will be a $1.50 charge if you call this number and speak with a customer service representative for any transaction, including balance inquiries.
Fuel Purchases - $0.95 when used in network and $1.95 at all other (out of network) locations. If you get cash back with a fuel purchase (in one transaction), there is no additional fee for the cash-back transaction. This saves you $2.00 instead of making an ATM cash withdrawal.
Direct Deposit - $0.35 per transaction to transfer money straight into your checking account.
Loading Funds - $4.00 to load funds onto your Comchek card, regardless of the amount loaded.
ATM Withdrawal - $2.00 per transaction and $3.00 per international (outside US) transaction. You can use your card at more than 600,000 Cirrus ATM locations worldwide. Additional withdrawal fees may be incurred at ATM machines that do not belong to Amsouth.
Maestro Withdrawal - $1.50 per transaction and $3.00 per international (outside US) transaction.
ATM/Maestro Balance Inquiry or Decline Fee - $1.50 per transaction.
Issuing Comcheks - $1.50 for each Comchek you issue from the funds available on your card. This is a flat-rate fee for each Comchek, regardless of the Comchek amount.
Answer Plus Phone Card - $0.18 per minute.
FreightCheck clients that choose to receive funding by Comchek (instead of a Comchek card) are charged a $10.00 processing fee for each $1,000 issued.
