How Our Freight Bill Factoring Program Works

FreightCheck has redefined the way factoring is done by providing a fast, simple and affordable solution to bridge the gap between billing and collections.

We will factor freight bills for any trucking company or owner-operator, regardless of company size or business volume. You can be setup and using our factoring service almost instantly. Here's how our factoring process works:

1. Login to our online Account Management Center. You will receive a username and password to our website upon becoming a FreightCheck client.

   When you login to the Account Management Center, general information about your account is displayed, along with any custom messages specific to your company. There are also links to policies, procedures and information about various special programs we offer to our factoring clients.

   Custom reports are available on-demand 24 hours a day. We make it quick and easy for you to manage your business relationship with us.

2. Search our Broker Credit Status database. You can search our database of thousands of the most popular brokers by MC number or broker name.

   Brokers in our database are listed as either approved or denied for factoring. If the broker is approved, we will purchase the freight bills.

   If the broker is denied, we will not purchase the freight bills.

   Brokers are denied because they do not meet our credit standards or have a history of paying freight bills in 45 to 60 days or more.

3. Select the broker to submit an online factoring application. You must submit a factoring application for each load you want to factor at least 24 hours before your freight bills arrive in our office. Completing the online application is easy and takes only a minute. If you are on the road without Internet access, a fax version is available upon request.

4. Deliver the load, then send us your freight bills, rate confirmation sheet and all paperwork. Most clients overnight documents using our FedEx discount program and often choose to hold paperwork for several loads to consolidate them in one package.

5. Get paid in full by Comchek or Comchek card. We provide same-day-funding when your freight bills arrive. The money you receive is not a loan. We charge a flat rate for each freight bill purchased, minus any advances or advance fees.

   Your trucking company does not need to prepare an invoice for any freight bills factored, since we are purchasing those accounts receivable. We prepare all invoices on our behalf, submit them and collect payment directly.

There is no charge back if we don't get paid for freight bills that meet our funding standards. FreightCheck assumes liability for the freight bills we purchase. Certain restrictions apply. Misdirected payments, shortages, damages, late fees, advances, claims and changes in rate could affect the settlement process.

FreightCheck does not require 6-month or 12-month term contracts like most factoring companies, so your trucking company is not committed to use our factoring service for any length of time. However, we cannot issue a release until all open accounts receivable for your company have been paid in full, or your account is purchased by another factoring company.

There is a one-time $65.00 Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) search and filing fee for new customers, which will be deducted from the first set of freight bills factored. If you need to terminate your business relationship with us, there is also a $150.00 processing fee to terminate our UCC filing(s) against you or your company.
